  The first thing you notice is the tethering that is so much part of our lives today mobile phones, laptops, the car keys, all these tiny tendrils, that even  twenty years ago would not have bound us around the notion of consumption. So it goes.....the death of our independence.. maybe, but then again our thoughts about who we were then are very difficult to separate from the conception of our currant view.
